"Box Set ", 2 min documentation

In a mediated world nature is just another consumable.

Mediation and digitized wonders have forever changed our relationship with nature. Nature is revered, but raw nature no longer dazzles, unless it is packaged for the optimum experience. In the Woods – Box Set reverses the outside experience of nature by packaging the 4 seasons for a purer inside viewing.

The Box: handcrafted hardwood box containing a mini DVD player and sliding drawers, which house 5 DVDs (one for 4-Seasons, and one each for Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter, "4-Seasons" is 14 min long, each season is a 3-4 min loop). Installation includes an Artist Book “Brushed” and ink jet prints.
