Stary Stary Night (song by Don McLean, 1971)

Music is generally considered the most powerful conduit for movement and emotional suggestion. In “Stary Stary Night”, light and movement are used to create a visual score. I wanted to create a visual counterpart to music, which would operate much like music's hypnotic essence. The piece is silent and the length of the original 60's popular song. The piece can be shown as a single piece, loop or as part of the "Golden Oldies" installation.
