Peru Diary Series (2004)

The drawings for “Peru Diary” are, like the video, a re-construction of a trek in Peru. It was an extraordinary venture, which I attempted and failed to capture with a camera. My photographic images of Peru failed to represent what was written in my diary or what I remembered. The images have been manipulated to restore the essence of the trek.

Medium: acrylic on ink jet prints on paper; size 8” X 10.5” or 10.5” X 8”, $ 300 per print, unframed
